Painting Techniques Unit - Introduction to Painting

Students completed these nature themed india ink batiks after studying nature from life and creating sketches. The sketches were used as the basis for the compositions. Students looked at works like the Haystacks" by Monet for reference of drawing their sketches quickly before a leaf curls or color fades.
